Programs and services provided through the Foundation help families overcome personal and financial challenges that prevent students from accessing education.
As an independent non-profit community-based organization, the Foundation supports initiatives that are beyond the scope of the Rockland BOCES budget.
The Foundation seeks funding from a variety of sources including grants, individual and corporate donations and community outreach.
Objectives To fund creative and innovative programs and resources for Rockland BOCES’ students and their families. To encourage community involvement and support for Rockland BOCES programs and services To cultivate relationships with business, industry and government for the financial and hands-on support for the Foundation’s programs and services.
Funding priorities include: Backpack Food Pantry Program Hilltop After School Program Family Fun Nights Scholarships
The Rockland BOCES Family Resource Center Foundation is an approved 501c (3) public charity and all donations are deductible to the full extent of the law.
